This picture of the west portion of the Ventana del Sol Subdivision in Cedar Crest is taken looking eastward from the ridge above its western boundary with the Cibola National Forest. A stretch of NM-14 runs along in front of Piñon Ridge to the east. The low Manzanitas and the distant peaks of the Manzano Mountains appear to the south.
